Asian buyers swoop on Qld

A Paradise Waters mansion that netted $8.7 million is one of a number of high-end properties being secretly marketed to cashed-up Asian investors and big-spending buyers.

The purchase of 60 Admiralty Drive marks the largest sale in Gold Coast real estate in the past years and has boosted the confidence of high-end vendors who have had low market conditions for years.

Properties carrying pricetags in the vicinity of $10 million in exclusive waterfront enclaves of Paradise Waters, Isle of Capri and Broadbeach Waters have been secretly listed since news 60 Admiralty smashed price records in the swift off-market deal.

McGrath Real Estate, Duncan Longmore was not commenting on particular addresses but confirmed he was among a raft of agents with numerous “off market listings” to present specifically to the cashed-up Asian market and high net worth clients.
